Crickets, Likemind, and Network Theory, oh my!

… … … Hear that? Definitely the sound of crickets. As you are well aware, I’ve somewhat been neglecting my blogging duties the last few months as things at work began creeping into all hours of my life. And now that spring is finally here, I’m more inclined to spend it outdoors than writing behind my laptop.

But, all is not lost! Once again, Likemind is happening this Friday at Over Easy. Same crew, same food, different conversations, so come out if your brain (and stomach) are in need of some stimulation.

Speaking of brain food, I’ve been spending the past few nights lost in the fascinating world of network theory courtesy of Six Degrees: The Science of a Connected Age. If you’re at all interested in social networks, organizational behavior, massive failures, it’s a must read. Perhaps I will even be inspired to blog about it… but only perhaps! (I won’t lie to you, I’m feeling a tad burned out).

Now back to my regularly scheduled silence. Commence cricket chatter.
