Here’s the deal: aside from a few continuing education classes at UofT, I’ve found there really isn’t much out there in terms of inexpensive, professional UX career development courses or training in Toronto. Given the existing wealth of knowledge within our community and the obviously strong interest in career development, it’s time to create our own network of UX continuing education classes and workshops, similar to Victor Lombardi’s Smart Experience courses in NYC.
Building off an idea I’ve been floating around for a while, and inspired by some recent discussions on the UXIrregulars list, I’ve put together a short (and very unscientific!) survey to gauge community interest in developing an ongoing series of UX workshops and courses taught by local UX professionals (yes, this means you!).
